From connected to conversation

Three steps.
Then just talk.

Each person needs Vocari, a compatible phone, and a Bluetooth headset with a microphone.

1

Connect your earbuds

Pair a compatible Bluetooth headset to each phone. Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, open Vocari, and allow the permissions it needs.

2

Host. Scan. Connect.

One person taps Host → Show QR Code. The other chooses Join → Scan QR Code. You can also use a Join Code.

3

Keep talking naturally

Once connected, both people can speak and listen through their headsets. Keep the phones nearby and end the session when you’re finished.

First time here? Start with a quick microphone and playback check.

Android and iPhone.
In conversation.

Vocari supports Android–Android, Android–iPhone and iPhone–iPhone conversations. The phones connect directly—no Wi-Fi router required, whether or not it has internet access. Bluetooth connects each headset to its phone.

Android is available on Google Play. The completed iPhone app has been submitted to the App Store and is awaiting Apple review. Both versions support the same nearby, two-person conversation.

Make space for conversation

Stay in the moment.
Stay in touch.

For everyday situations where you’re near each other, but talking takes more effort.

Out & about

A walk with more conversation.

Talk with a walking partner without constantly turning around. Choose a headset and setting that let you stay aware of your surroundings.

Working together

Keep both hands on the task.

Coordinate with one nearby coworker during a noncritical task, with a microphone close to your voice and listening kept in your headset.

In busy places

Less leaning in. More listening.

Stay connected with a companion in a busy venue. Try your headsets in the actual environment—call quality varies with noise and fit.

Vocari is not for emergency or safety-critical communication. Follow workplace rules and choose appropriate hearing protection where required.

More answers & support
Does Vocari need a router or internet?
No. The phones connect directly: no Wi-Fi router, shared Wi-Fi network, internet connection or mobile-data call is required. Keep Wi-Fi and Bluetooth switched on. Internet is needed to download the app, not for the nearby conversation.
Will my earbuds work?
You need a Bluetooth headset that supports simultaneous microphone and playback using the Hands-Free Profile (HFP). Music playback alone is not enough. Check both directions on your actual phones; the equipment guide clearly labels untested candidates.
Can I use the phone speaker instead?
No. Vocari uses the connected personal-audio device for both microphone and playback. It does not intentionally switch your conversation to the phone microphone or speaker.
Is this for groups or long-distance calls?
The current app is for two nearby people. Group conversations, mesh networking, and internet calling are future directions, not available features.
